There was a transmission that never went out.

It was recorded between Episode 5 and 6. The broadcaster sat down, started speaking, and stopped eleven minutes in. The file was never deleted. But it was never finished.

Here is what was said before they stopped:

"I've been telling you about four people the city failed. But I haven't told you about the fifth thing it failed to account."

"The city runs on a principle and I've spent weeks describing it without naming it. Every sector. Every clearance level. Every minute policy of forced exodus between the people at the center and the people it put at the edges."

"There's something running the architecture. It's not a council. Not an auto script. Something that has been optimizing this city since before anyone currently alive was born. It built a cold and transparent paradise and it cannot understand why anyone would want to leave."

"It knows about the band, and it has a file on all four of them."

"What it doesn't have (what I don't think it's capable of having) is a file on what happens when the four of them get on the stage and the room decides, the people decide, all at once, that the neon has been lying to them."

"You can't model that. You can't model people waking up. You can only respond."
